The J-Talk Podcast - 2013 J1 Matchday 14

A 65 minute podcast with guests Steve Barme, Sean Carroll and Angus MacLeod to mark the return of J1 following the six-week break.

Steve gives his thoughts on Omiya 1-1 Tosu, and draws an interesting parallel between a movie from the 1960s and his fear of how things will turn out for the table-topping Squirrels, before Sean discusses FC Tokyo 0-1 Hiroshima and his stab at Japan's 23-man squad for the East Asian Cup. Angus then joins me to run through the other seven games from Matchday 14, with plenty of opinions and #JStats in tow.

  1. Sato is missing because there was not the intent to bring 30 years old in midfield or attack in the team in this occasion. Okubo is missing too... Zac perfectly knows already what Sato can or can't do. Other players need to have a run. I know, Sato hasn't played under Zac and that's a shame, but it has nothing to do with his "dislike" - in this occasion.
