After another action-packed weekend of J1 action, I called on Barry Valder, the man behind the always excellent S-Pulse UK Ultras blog, and the author of Watching Football in Japan, to run through all the goings-on from Matchday 6.
Barry was naturally in a good mood after Shimizu's 3-2 win over Iwata in the Shizuoka Derby on Saturday, and after an introductory chat about his time in Japan we discussed the game at length, as well as the general state of things in the orange half of Shizuoka.
Following on from that we covered all of the other results, I blabbered on nonsensically for about five minutes on FC Tokyo v Kashima, and after we finished off with Yokohama 1-1 Omiya, we rounded off with a look ahead to midweek A.C.L. and Nabisco Cup games, and next weekend's J1 Matchday 7 (not neccessarily in that order).
As always, you can listen now on the player above, or download the mp3 from the file host by clicking on the J-Talk logo over there on the left. For iTunes'ers, we hope to have this new episode available for you tonight (Monday).
P.S. Apologies for the lack of production/music this week, but I'm having technical issues when recording through skype/Tapur and editing on Audacity, hopefully I'll find an answer to that this week!
