The J-Talk Podcast - J1 & J2 Special

With the J1 season set to reach its halfway point next Saturday, and the J2 campaign having gotten there last Sunday, this is a special edition of J-Talk covering both leagues in depth. This 58 and a half minute bonanza runs in two parts:

Part 1 - runs to the 36.40 mark

On what was a busy night for me on skype, I first called on Alan Gibson of JSoccer Magazine and JSoccer.com to run through all of the games in J1 Matchday 16, and to get his impressions on the first half of the season and things to watch for from here on.

Part 2 - from 36.40 to end (58.35)

I then called on Jon Steele from the J2 Kanto Bites blog to try and make sense of the logjam in the top half of the second tier, and to get his thoughts on the teams most likely to stay in contention for the playoffs, and the teams who could make a run on the top six in the second half of the season.

This is a long listen obviously, but two guys who really know their stuff make for very interesting listening.
Crack on on the player above, or download the mp3 from the file host by clicking on the J-Talk logo on the left. For iTunes subscribers I hope to have this new episode available for you tonight (Monday).
