The second half of the J1 season got going on Saturday, and joining me to run through all of the games from another action-packed matchday was Barry Valder from the always excellent
S-Pulse UK Ultras blog.
We started, naturally, with the 8-goal thriller at Nihondaira, which saw 9-man S-Pulse succumb to a late fightback from 10-man champions Kashiwa. With so many talking points from that game our chat on S-Pulse-Reysol ended up taking the best part of 15 minutes, before we moved on to discuss all of the other games from Matchday 18, and listen out for a collector's item - Barry giving some credit (albeit begrudgingly!) to prefecture rivals Iwata (that comes around 24:30 in).
