The J-Talk Podcast - J1 Matchday 17

The 2012 J1 Season reached its halfway point on Saturday, and joining me once again to run through all of the games was Alan Gibson from JSoccer.com and JSoccer Magazine. This 45 minute podcast runs in two parts:

Part 1 (to 36:45)

Alan and I began by talking about the Japan mens squad for the London Olympics (to around 9:00), and then covered all of the games in detail from J1 Matchday 17.

#We also discussed the Nadeshiko squad, but due to technical difficulties that section had to be removed. Apologies to fans of the Nadeshiko.#

Part 2 (to end - 45:22)

A brief J2 roundup, as there were yet more changes in the top six, before we finished with a chat about Tsuneyasu Miyamoto's testimonial game, which is taking place in Kobe next Monday night (and that Alan hopes to referee!).

Listen on the player above or download the mp3 by clicking on the J-Talk logo on the left. We hope to have this new episode available to iTunes subscribers tonight (Tuesday).

  1. I am currently trying to make sure all other possible referees are busy or down with food poisoning next Monday :-) It WOULD be an honour... but I am not holding my breath ! Thanks again, as always, for all the work you're doing Mr. J-Talk!
