The J-Talk Podcast - Kagawa's debut, J.League, Young Nadeshiko

With lots of ground to cover again this week I called on Alan Gibson of JSoccer Magazine and JSoccer.com to run through all the talking points from another big week in Japanese football.

This 60-minute podcast runs in three parts:
Part 1 - Japanese players in Europe, Japan v Venezuela review (to 12:17)
Shinji Kagawa's debut with Manchester United and another assist for Keisuke Honda in Russia (to 6:20)
And a chat about the major talking points from the Venezuela match in Sapporo last Wednesday.

Part 2 - A full review of J1 Matchday 22 (to 41:56)
Hiroshima extend their lead at the top after Sendai v Kashiwa ends scoreless, Urawa back up to 3rd, Shimizu back into the top half and a comprehensive look at the teams in the relegation scrap.

Part 3 - J2 Matchday 29, Young Nadeshiko & the Under 20 Women's World Cup
Kofu's lead cut, Kyoto roar up to second and big changes at the foot of the J2 table (to 48:45)
Young Nadeshiko thump Mexico and a recap on the opening round of games in all four groups of the Under 20 Women's World Cup (to 53:38)

We finished up with a look ahead to Issue 5 of JSoccer Magazine, which will be released on September 15 and sounds an absolute belter.
