It was my pleasure to welcome Sean Carroll back to the podcast this week, after he returned to Japan from a trip back home to the UK and then Europe.
We had plenty on the agenda and were slightly pressed for time, so this 38 minute and 44 second podcast is full to the brim with all the Japanese football news you need this week.
#There were a couple of problems with Sean's skype connection, but this shouldn't impede your listening experience too much, while I did part 2 solo, so that part is not in stereo#
This podcast runs in two parts:
Part 1 (to 33:30) - I got Sean's general thoughts on the mens Under 23 team at the Olympics (to 3:00),
Shinji Kagawa's first goal for Manchester United and his performance in the opening two games of the Premier League season(to 5:30),
The Young Nadeshiko's 4-0 win over Switzerland and their prospects in their quarter final against South Korea (to 9:50),
And a full review of all games in J1 Matchday 23.
Part 2 (to end) - After Sean had to go, I wrapped up this week's two J2 Matchdays.
